Bar & Interior

This bar was designed and produced for a rather large Dance school ars vivendie in the very west of Germany. As part of the entire interior concept that has been developed with and for K3-Studio Architects. The 10m wide bar became next to the big Led Lamp the eyecatcher in the building. It uses up to date led lighting technology creating a different atmosphere simply by the push of a button.

Bloem & Tuin 2010

Op het tiendaagse tuinevenement Bloem en Tuin tonen hoveniers duurzame tuinproducten die in nagenoeg elke tuin zijn in te passen. De nieuwste generatie designers laat verder zien dat tuinattributen niet meer alleen mooi en trendy, maar ook functioneel en duurzaam kunnen zijn. De duurzame tuin is daarmee zonder twijfel de tuin van de toekomst.

Duurzaam tuinieren betekent een harmonieus geheel creëren voor mens, plant en dier. Een mooi voorbeeld is het vogelhuisje ‘Black Bird‘ van designer Fabian Riemer. Het is een stalen constructie die eenmaal begroeid met klimplanten als natuurlijk vogelhuisje fungeert. Groot voordeel is dat eksters en kraaien het nakijken hebben dankzij de stevige ombouw van het nestkastje. Niet alleen erg functioneel, maar ook bijzonder fraai. Bron: www.blikopnieuws.nl

Road ’B

Het gaat slecht met de bijenpopulatie, kolonies verdwijnen in hoog tempo. Alarmerend, want de bij is een cruciale schakel in het proces van bestuiving. Fabian Riemer creëerde een nieuwe habitat waar bijen ongestoord kunnen zoemen, bestuiven en wonen. Road ’B is een geluidswal en bijenparadijs in één. Een wand van metalen honingraten met daarachter niet alleen een laag geluidswerend foam, maar ook een enorme zak potgrond. Door sneden in de zak maken, kunnen er aan de wegzijde bloeiende planten in worden gezet die bijen of andere bestuivende insecten lokken. Aan de achterkant wordt de zak afgedekt door een dikke industriële doek met een grove structuur waarin bijen en vlinders goed kunnen nestelen.

Van 23 juli tot en met 1 augustus op Bloem en Tuin op Landgoed Gulbergen in Nuenen.

ULO(Unidentified Lighting Object):

Geometric concept lamp out of mat acrylic on the out side and high gloss on the inside. With chrome stand and brightly coloured cords.

Fabel_Schrank

This concept cabinet consists out of a wooden base frame covered with individual coloured shingles overlapping each other. The coloured version is inspired by a early dutch TV show called the “Fabeltjeskrant” I used to watch as a child based on french tale by Jean de la Fontaine.
